Torrance California

Torrance California has one and half miles of Los Angeles County beach front. What more could you want? How about one of the most famous LA area city parks which is Wilson Park, 44 acres of sun and fun including a skate park and outdoor roller skating rink? Not to mention one of the few remaining marshlands in the Los Angeles County area being located near downtown Torrance. The City of Torrance was founded in 1912 and incorporated in 1926 and has an approximate population of 150,000 -Bordered by Redondo Beach to the North and Malaga Cove on the South. Residents of the area get to enjoy the sunny temperate climate that all of Southern California is known and loved for. One of the reasons is that the city has 90,000 street trees, to give a little shade and beauty to the area.
